How are ethical issues addressed?

•Ethical issues regarding patient care may be brought to the Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Committee by any patient, family, physician, or staff member.

•Related issues may be resolved at times without the Committee by referring the concern to the Medical Director or the attending physician.

•When there are unusual situations or when in doubt as to an ethical issue contact the Risk Manager – Jesline Ruiz Ext: 1982.
