The Joint Commission (TJC)
The Joint Commission is an accreditation agency that sets standards for how healthcare organizations should work and inspects organizations to see if they are in compliance with these standards.
When The Joint Commission surveyors come to visit the hospital, they will be touring the hospital and asking employees questions about how the hospital works. The tour and questions they ask will be a big part of their inspection of our hospital. Chances are that you will be asked some questions by one of the surveyors. They will be asking questions of everyone working the days of their visit. The information provided in this booklet is provided to help you prepare for some of the questions they may ask.
