Radiology – 2014 R1

Overview:

The Radiology Management system is designed for efficient tracking of radiology exams. Exams can be entered into the system by directly interfacing Order Entry procedures or by entering Patient Accounting charges through a processing option. Exams can be checked out and in by established requesters. Requests can be issued for exams that are currently checked out. The system provides a letter writing feature to send follow up notices to patients and to send overdue notices to exam requesters. User defined exam rejection codes can be assigned to exams that are rejected. The individual that produced an exam can be tracked by using the technician code.
