Patient Care and eMAR – 2021 R1

Overview:

This manual is one of two primary references for Patient Care and eMAR. The purpose of this manual is to introduce the combined Patient Care/eMAR application to the new user and to provide sufficient detail that, as readers progress through the bookmarked sections, they gain a full understanding of the application.

Patient Care and eMAR are both Web-based applications designed and developed by MEDHOST.
• Patient Care is an advanced charting system designed to eliminate the timely process of manually charting patient information. For more information, see “What Is Patient Care?”
• eMAR, which stands for electronic Medication Administration Record, is designed for electronically maintaining patients’ medical administration records. For more information, see “What Is eMAR?” in the eMAR section of this manual.
